Welcome to www.greekality.com (the “site”). Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using the site. By accessing and using the site, you signify and acknowledge your acceptance of this agreement. Your acceptance of this agreement provides you with a limited, temporary and non-exclusive license and permission to use the resources of the site, as well as the opportunity to purchase tickets for our food and drink experiences. This limited, temporary and non-exclusive license and permission are freely revocable at any time, for any reason whatsoever, and with or without notice, by GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) as described more fully below. If you do not agree to this agreement, please do not use the site or purchase tickets for our experiences.

 

Cancellations

We understand that travel plans sometimes change, therefore we have a flexible cancellation policy. As we keep our tour groups small, we ask you to inform us the soonest if your plans change, because we need to inform our guides in advance and change reservations at local venues.

Free cancellations and date changes (pending availability) up to 48 hours before your tour. Cancellations and/or date changes must be sent by email at info@greekality.com no less than 48 hours in advance of the tour in order to receive full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of a tour. Late arrivals and no-shows are nonrefundable (for any participant that fails to arrive, or arrives after the tour has started). Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before will be charged an additional 50% of your previous total. Gift card purchases are not refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Gift cards are valid for booking tours for 12 months from the date of purchase.

If your tour is cancelled, rescheduled or changed by us, we give you the options of rescheduling to another tour or claiming a full refund. If you are entitled to a refund, we will refund you in the same way you made the payment.

Transactions and e-commerce on our site 

During your visit to our site you may choose to engage in a transaction involving the purchase of our services. Credit card transactions may be handled by a third party processing agent. In most cases transactions are completed without difficulty, but there is no such thing as “perfect security” online. If you’re concerned about online credit card safety, call us and place your order by phone. We do not take responsibility for the success or security of transactions processed by third parties. 

About our tours

 

We aim to complete our tours within the time duration indicated. However time duration may vary depending on the pace of the tour, service time in businesses, and due to other unforeseen factors. Please leave some extra time at end of the tour before making other arrangements. 

 

We reserve the right to change the route of the tour or the menu selections in case of non-availability of a product, without prior notice.

 

We need a minimum amount of guests to run our tours. If we don’t reach this number, we might have to cancel the tour and fully refund you or move the tour to an alternative date at no extra cost. In this case, we will inform you by email, phone or text at least 2 days prior to the tour. Further compensation claims are excluded.

 

Intellectual Property

 

Photographs and video footage may be taken during the tour for editorial or promotional purposes. These images may be used for digital or printed material. If you do not want images of you or your party to be used, please let us know in writing in advance of the tour.

Allergies, Dietary Requirements and Health

GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) accepts no responsibility for any allergies and/or dietary needs of the participants. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know at the time of booking and we will try our best to accommodate you.

GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) assumes no liability for participants’ health including, but not limited to, pre-existing conditions and those that appear during our tours. Tour participants with medical/health concerns should inform us beforehand of their condition. The tour leader reserves the right to not accept any customer whose health or actions interfere with the operation of the tour or the well-being of the other participants. Refunds are not given under such circumstances.

In the event of an emergency, every effort will be made to assist you. GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) by no means accepts responsibility for costs that arise from any negative health effects.

GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) is not responsible for the foods/beverages consumed on its tours. GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) does not assume liability for accidents, delays, loss or damage due to any act of another company, organization or person engaged in transportation, arrangements for the tour, service, of any restaurant or its employees. Guests accept personal responsibility for any liability, injury, loss, or damage connected with their participation. 

Tour participants fully accept all of the risks associated with their participation, including injury or death (weather conditions, food illness, adverse reactions to foods, choking).

Insurance

GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) recommends that you make sure you are covered by health insurance and that you purchase travel insurance before taking part in our tours. 

Participant Waiver & Release of Liability

By booking with GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) you release any of its employees, agents and other representatives from all cost, liability, loss or damage incurred or suffered by you directly or indirectly during the tour and you agree not to make any claim against or seek compensation.

GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) and its representatives are not responsible for any expense or liability due to civil unrest, war or threat of war, acts of terrorism, government restrictions, weather, theft, fire or illness, or any other cause beyond their control. In case a tour is jeopardized or impossible due to force majeure, weather conditions, political disturbances or strikes, it can be canceled. In this case, we will reschedule your tour for another day, or if we are unable to do so, you will be fully refunded. If the tour leader carries on with the tour but you do not want to continue due to weather conditions, you will not be refunded. In the case of rain and cold, we recommend an umbrella, raincoat and suitable clothing.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with Greek Government Laws. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.

GREEKALITY (E-SERVICE) reserves the right to change the terms and conditions and any portion of the site at any time without previous notice. It may also deny access to any person or user at any time for any reason. 

 

We inform our guests that our services should in no case be associated or considered to fall into the category of services offered by licensed tourist guides. In case you’d like to book services by licensed tourist guides, we could bring you in contact with them.
