Taste Athens Greek Food Tour

Me and my wife had a great food tour in Athen. We liked the tour and how Marina did it with us. We visited different parts of the city (i think we have been to 5 different districts) and we have eaten there really good food from greece. Thanks for the great tour! Marina’s tour was very informative and interesting. We ate so much food - many things I would not have ever thought to order, and many things that are typical to home style cooking. The tour lasted 4 hours and we ate until we were stuffed. Marina is very warm and engaging and makes everyone feel included. I highly recommend her.

Englisch: We had a beautiful evening food tour with Marina and Fourty. It was our first food tour on a vacation. The group consisted of another 8 people. Due to the different nationalities we have agreed to speak English. Everyone in the group was very nice. Marina and Fourty really went to great lengths to ensure that everyone feels comfortable, understands everything and that the Greek traditions are conveyed. The atmosphere in Athens in the evening is phenomenal. Not comparable to that on the day. That was really great. We felt really good. We were in various small shops and pubs, were able to try a lot of delicious traditional dishes and dishes and were super full in the end. Of course, the Corona rules were also observed. Despite this, the evening was really nice and gave our vacation a little something extra. We were so excited that we will certainly book a food tour more often on vacation. Thank you very much for this beautiful evening! Deutsch: Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Evening Foodtour mit Marina und Fourty. Es war unsere erste Foodtour in einem Urlaub. Die Gruppe bestand aus weiteren 8 Personen. Aufgrund der verschiedenen Nationalitäten haben wir uns darauf geeinigt englisch zu sprechen. Alle in der Gruppe waren sehr nett. Marina und Fourty haben sich wirklich sehr sehr viel Mühe gegeben, dass sich jeder wohl fühlt, alles versteht und die griechischen Traditionen übermittelt bekommt. Die Stimmung in Athen am Abend ist phänomenal. Nicht vergleichbar mit der am Tag. Das war wirklich klasse. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Wir waren in verschiedenen kleinen Läden und Lokalen, haben sehr viele leckere Traditionelle Gerichte und Speisen probieren dürfen und waren am Ende super satt. Auf die Corona Regeln wurde natürlich auch geachtet. Trotz dieser war der Abend aber total schön und hat unserem Urlaub ein gewisses Extra verpasst. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir sicherlich noch öfter im Urlaub eine Foodtour buchen werden. Vielen vielen lieben Dank für diesen schönen Abend!

Marina is a wonderful host. The food was great and the experience amazing. I loved the greek Birthday song that Marina sang for me :) Highly recommended!

Our tour guide was AMAZING! She was knowledgeable and personable. She gave us great tips on other places to try that weren’t on the tour. I definitely recommend doing this if your in Athens and want to see the best hidden gems!

Marina, the tour guide, is everything a guide should be: kind, patient, and passionate about what she does. We not only tried street foods of Athens, but also had a full meal at a family run taverna. There were a total of five stops and by dessert, I could only manage two bites as I was so full. I would highly recommend the Athens Evening Food Tour- worth every penny! You not only experience amazing food, but you also get a guided walk through the streets of Athens!

Marina did a great job walking us through a evening of food exploration and great conversations. After the evening tour my wife and I agreed that we could have gone home and felt that our Athens vacation was complete (and we hadn’t even seen the Parthenon yet). We traveled into the trendy neighborhoods to side street eateries that all offered mouth watering eats ranging from appetizers to a 5 course dinner. It was fun following the foodie Marina through her love of good food. I highly recommend this as a starting tour in Athens as you get a feel for the city and where to eat as you explore it. I’d give 6 stars but it’s not an option.

Last Saturday we had a great experiance with our guide Marina.She intruduced us to the exciting experiance of the Greek cuisine. She was very kind and we enjoyed very much the tour. Lots of thanks to Marina.

It was absolutely awesome. Marina is such a warm and friendly person. She has a lot of knowledge and she takes you to real authentic food stalls. We loved every minute and came back for another tour.
